Standalone Connection Guide - Windows Vista

1. Click on the Start button and select Control Panel , then select Network and Sharing Center .
2. At the left, click on Setup a connection or network .
3. Select Connect to the Internet , and click next.
4. Select “Setup my connection manually”.
5. Ensure that, at the top, “ No, create a new connection ” is selected, and click Next .
6. Click on Broadband (PPPoE) .
7. For ease of future reference, enter Primus as the Connection name .
8. Enter your fully qualified username ( user@biz1m.primus.ca , user@magma.ca , user@dsl.ca , etc).
9. Enter your password in the Password field.
10. If you don't wish to be prompted every single time you connect (or reconnect) to the Internet, put a checkmark in Remember this password .
11. Click Connect to connect.
