ASP Manager

To use ASP you need to visit the ASP Manager and install it.

Once you click the "Install ASP" button you will have the option of what framework you would like to be installed (1.1 or 2.0), Manage the ODBC DSNs for the VWS, and Map virtual directories to directories outside of your public_html directory.

Managing ODBC

If you already have a database set up you can Add an ODBC Data Source for that SQL Database, just click on "ADD" beside the database you want to make available

If your database is not listed or are unsure what your database name or the server you are on please call or email us anytime!

Virtual Directories

A Virtual Directory appears to the browser as a directory under the web site's document root. However, the actual location of the Virtual Directory on the server can be anywhere under the home directory. The Virtual Directory acts like a link to the actual location of the content.

Each Virtual Directory requires a name and a mapping to the actual location under the user home directory.
