Managing FTP Users

An extra FTP userid is a userid associated with your website which can be used to manage your website, similar to your Base Userid. Extra FTP userids have full read/write access to your website content.

However, for security purposes, you can restrict an extra FTP userid to a particular sub-directory tree. This would allow you to delegate control of certain areas of your website to other people (employees or outside contractors, etc).

To get started Click "Add New User", enter in the userid, password and the highest directory you would like them to access.
